Here at Green Matters, we've welcoming soup season with open arms, and while whipping up homemade vegan soup is a relatively easy task, there's sometimes nothing better than ordering a warm cup of plant-based goodness to your doorstep. That said, we've compiled an extensive list of our favorite vegan restaurant soups, which are currently available for delivery or pick-up during soup season.

Vegan fast-casual restaurant chain, by CHLOE., offers an ever-changing plant-based soup option at most of its locations. Currently, several are offering a mouth-watering Mushroom Barley soup, which sounds like a seriously drool-worthy fall lunch right about now. Check to make sure your nearest by CHLOE. restaurant is currently offering it ahead of time, to avoid potential disappointment.

Plant-based empire, Veggie Grill, generally features a few soup options. The New York City location in the Flatiron District is currently offering a Moroccan Lentil Soup, as well as a Three-Bean Chili. The Los Angeles 6th Street location is offering both, in addition to a Masala Curry Bowl. The options may vary, but it seems as though there's always a soup option on-hand.

Obviously, Whole Foods has countless vegan-friendly soup options, including Pumpkin Curry Soup which is available nationwide, as well as regional offerings, such as: Red Lentil Dal with Spinach Soup, Split Pea Soup, Old School Vegetable Soup, Black Bean Chili with Quinoa, and Carrot Ginger Soup. These selections are available for pickup in-store, or for delivery, if you're feeling extra lazy.

That's right  — you can order that tantalizing bread, soup, and salad combination order from Olive Garden to your doorstep, because the chain's minestrone soup is now dairy-free, according to PETA2. If you're looking to warm up in the heartiest way possible, there's really no better way than with this incredibly nostalgic order that we've all come to know and love. 

Panera Bread's website has a full webpage dedicated to educating the masses on the chain's vegan offerings. Panera's current vegan soup offering is a Ten Vegetable Soup, which — if it's exactly what it sounds like — sounds like a plant-based dream come true. It seems to be available at all Panera locations, so get out there and grab yourself a cup of delicious warmth.

One of the most low-key vegan-friendly chains is Qdoba. Aside from the Tex Mex chain's impeccable use of Impossible Meat, Qdoba has a completely vegan tortilla soup, according to Urban Tastebuds, which is bound to make your tastebuds dance — that is, if you can handle a slight kick. And with a hefty side of guacamole, you really can't beat it for a quick, easy meal. 

There's definitely no denying that you'll be ordering in soup quite a bit these next few months, as the weather gets seemingly chillier, and as the vegan soup options remain vast as ever. That being said, we certainly won't judge you for doing so — that is — as long as you opt for a low-waste ordering platform.
