Crissy Trask speaks, writes and advises on all matters green with a goal of helping people discover and pursue a more eco-conscious way of life. Her knowledge, casual spirit and practical advise put people at ease and help make every session on green living an informative, fun and rewarding experience. In 1999, Crissy founded greenmatters.com--once home to The Busy Person's Guide To Greener Living. The e-guide provided practical advice and tools to help busy people pursue a more eco-conscious way of life. In 2002, Crissy began work on her book It's Easy Being Green: A Handbook for Earth-Friendly Living (Gibbs Smith, 2006) which is fillled with no-nonsense facts, tips and resources and is a practical tool for greener living. With the manuscript for her book nearly complete by 2004, Crissy started Green Matters Home and Lifestyle Consulting to advise individuals and groups eager for information and solutions that would provide incentives and actionable alternatives for creating greener spaces and adopting a greener lifestyle. As a recognized green living specialist, Crissy has been quoted in dozens of publications including Country Home magazine, Money magazine, Renovation Style magazine, the Los Angeles Times and the New York Daily News. She was selected as one of only three professional consultants to be profiled in StyleCareer.com's Guide to Becoming a Green Consultant. She has been a featured guest on WisconsinPublic Radio, Sirius Satellite's Organic World, Oprah and Friends and most recently, Starmar, Inc.s Go Green Teleseminar Series. In the past year, Crissy has delivered presentations on green topics to clients in Washington, California, Texas and Arizona. Her clients include Walt Disney Animation Studios, Modesto Junior College and the Heard Natural Science Museum. Crissy manages to find time for some freelance writing and blogging as well. She writes exclusively about what she knows best--making earth-friendlier choices--and her clients include newspapers, magazines, hotels and websites. |
